Years 5 & 6 explore our Nation's Capital

Our Year 5 & 6 students jetted off to Canberra this week for a fun filled week exploring our nation’s capital. For some students, this will be the first time they see snow or fly in a plane. They will sightsee Questacon, the Museum of Australian Democracy, Parliament House, Australian War Memorial, National Capital Exhibition, Mt Ainslie lookout, Australian Institute of Sport, Royal Australian Mint, Ian Potter Foundation Technology Learning Centre, Darling Harbour, Taronga Zoo, Circular Quay and have a snow day where they can go tobogganing. WOW! What a week lined up. It certainly sounds fun and exhausting all at once. I have no doubt that the plane trip home will be a very quiet one. Enjoy your time with teachers and peers.
